Who we are
Loop Technologies is a trading name of OPAL International Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 14150130). Our registered office is Office 394 Unit 5, 399–405 Oxford Street, London, W1C 2BU, United Kingdom. OPAL International Ltd is responsible for personal information it handles in connection with Loop and this website.
For privacy questions or requests, contact request@flyopal.com and mention Loop. This policy covers the Loop app, this website and support correspondence.
Information on your device
You do not need to create an account to use Loop. The app stores your My Tech device selections and nicknames, language preference, onboarding choices and troubleshooting progress locally on your device.
The current app does not send this saved information to an operator server. It does not include advertising or analytics services, and it does not scan or remotely control your other devices. Apple device backups may include app data according to your device settings.
Use Erase local data in the app to remove locally saved app information. This does not cancel a subscription or remove Apple’s transaction records. Restoring a device backup may restore previously backed-up information.
App Store purchases
Apple processes App Store payments. Loop uses StoreKit product and transaction information to determine whether Full Access is active, restore eligible purchases and show the local price. We do not receive your full payment-card details through the app.
Apple handles its payment, account and transaction information under its own privacy policy. The current app does not send transaction receipts to a Loop-operated server.
Sharing & support
When you choose to share a troubleshooting summary, the iOS share sheet passes the selected content to the destination you choose. Review it before sharing. A guide is not automatically sent to us.
If you email us, OPAL International Ltd receives your email address, the contents of your message and any attachments or other details you choose to provide. We use this information to answer your request, investigate a reported problem and keep necessary support records. Please do not send passwords, verification codes, full payment details or sensitive information unrelated to your request.
We process support information where needed to respond to a service request or perform our contract with you, and for our legitimate interests in helping users and maintaining the service. We may also process records to meet legal obligations. If a particular activity requires consent, we will ask for it.
This website & external links
When you choose a website language, we save that preference in your browser on this device. It is not sent to us. You can change it using the language menu or remove it by clearing this site’s browser data.
This website does not use advertising or analytics tools and does not have a customer account, support submission form or payment checkout. Email links open your own email app; no message is sent simply by viewing the website.
Hosting and security providers may process normal connection data, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages and request times, to deliver and protect the website. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.
Manufacturer resources, Apple support pages and other external links have their own privacy practices. Those services may receive connection information when you visit them.
Service providers & retention
We may use email, hosting and technical service providers to operate the website and handle support. They receive information needed for those purposes. We may disclose information where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or legal rights. We do not sell your personal information.
Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain relevant service records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the request and the records involved. Information should be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.
Providers may process information outside your country. Where applicable data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use appropriate safeguards, such as contractual protections. Contact us for information about the handling of your particular request.
Your choices & rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent where processing depends on it. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions. Contact request@flyopal.com; we may need enough information to verify that a request concerns your data.
Local app data can be erased directly in Loop. To manage Apple’s account or purchase information, use Apple’s controls. Deleting app data does not cancel your subscription.
You can also complain to your local data-protection authority. In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if Loop’s data practices change and show the new effective date. Material changes, such as the addition of hosted accounts or cloud sync, will be explained before those features are used.
